A cystoscopy is a procedure where a physician examines the lining of your bladder and urethra, the tube that transports urine out of your body. A urinary catheter is a tube placed in the body to drain and collect urine from the bladder, either through the urethra or a suprapubic catheter. Our office is equipped to both place and change catheters, as well as collect sterile urine specimens via straight catheterization. Uroflowmetry (Uroflow) is a quantitative diagnostic test that assesses how well the urinary tract functions by measuring the flow of urine. It records information such as the urine flow rate, volume, an time to void. To learn more about this test, click here to be forwarded to an external website.

A Bladder Ultrasound is a procedure done when patients report an inability to empty the bladder completely.
