How to Schedule a TeleHealth Visit:
At Capital Urology, our TeleHealth visits are available for established patients who have set up an online profile. In order to set up an online profile, a patient must:
Request a temporary username and password from one of our staff members (See number below)
Change your temporary username and password to something that better suits your needs
Follow the remaining instructions that are listed with the temporary username and password

Once your account has been set up, you are able to schedule a TeleHealth visit with a staff member, either through our portal messaging app or by calling (614) 784-UROL (8765). Eligible visits for the TeleHealth can include, but are not limited to:
Follow Up Visits
Post Operative Visits
New Patient Visits (depending on diagnosis)
Laboratory and Imaging Results
Treatment Options for Your Specific Diagnoses
After scheduling, a staff member will call you to set up a test visit 1-2 days before your appointment to ensure quality connectivity of our Patient Portal at no additional cost. Please review TeleHealth insurance coverage information on the right-side of this page.
TeleHealth has become a modern alternative to doctor’s office visits. With the current COVID-19 global pandemic, insurance companies are expanding their coverage in this area. Medicare has announced expanded TeleHealth coverage for all patients. Most commercial insurance providers are also following these steps, but some restrictions still may apply. We encourage you to call your insurance provider to determine if your policy covers TeleHealth services.
We are happy to see patients if their insurance company does not cover TeleHealth visits or if you would like to pay out of pocket, there will be a $95 charge due at the time of your appointment – we accept most major credit cards. Please call our office to learn more about activating your patient portal and to set up your next appointment.
